Gumbi Gumbi (Pittosporum angustifolium) has been used for thousands of years by Australian Aborigines. Its traditional uses vary with geographical specifity and are reported to have been used to treat viral conditions such as coughs, colds, and much more. Until recently, the evidence has been largely anecdotal. Recent phytochemical screening of Gumbi Gumbi has demonstrated the presence of saponins, phenols, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and tannins. Its potential is beginning to become more widely known around Australia. Some may know the bush medicine as a native apricot, cattlebush, weeping Pittosporum, cumbi cumbi and Gumby Gumby.
We want to ensure that Gumbi Gumbi is accessible to those who marvel at its natural properties, and to those who want to benefit their nutritional wellbeing. We are proud to be the first to provide our nation with quality organic Gumbi Gumbi natural food supplements grown on our certified organic farm and manufactured in our certified food-grade facility.
Our traditional natural supplement is wild harvested on a 2,000-acre Australian certified organic (ACO) farm positioned in the beautiful mountain foothills of Southern Queensland, on Waka Waka country.
We do not add to, subtract from, or alter this natural food in any way beyond processing it for ease of consumption. We specialise in foods designed for overall nutritional wellbeing.
Family Owned with Ethical ValuesWe work alongside our Australian farmers to provide you with the highest-quality, organic, and wildcrafted raw plant material. As a close-knit family ourselves, we endeavour to support the local community and the environment throughout everything we do. Our stringent monitoring system ensures that all our produce is of the highest quality before being processed through our certified processing plant. You can be assured that our Gumbi Gumbi is not being picked from trees by the side of the road or on farms exposed to pollutants and crop dusting chemicals. About Us |
